We were lucky enough to go and see the Blue Man Group here in Las Vegas, and boy was it a treat. First, we had an unexpected visit from Shane's mom, and Shane has always wanted to see that show. Well low and behold a coupon came in the mail half price for locals. Well, we could not pass this up! I was not that excited to go but I knew that Shane really wanted to and last year he sat through Phantom of the Opera and Les Mes, so I put on a happy face and went. We had dinner at some crazy restruant in the Veneitian. This is a problem for me, I don't want a salad that looks like weeds and I would like to eat food that I can pronounce or at least sounds good together. We as locals should have known.......Never eat on the strip, they have crazy food! Enough about the food, the show was AWESOME!!!! My kids loved it, and it is so kids approved. Bryce laughed so hard that everyone around us was laughing at Bryce. It was a great show, if you have not seen it, do it.....it is so worth it. And if you are a local you still might get half price. I cannot say enough about the talent that goes into this show, not only the men who are infact the Blue Man group, but also the band it incrediable! 5 STARS all the way!

Resolutions
So here it is January 19th and I am thinking about resolutions. Of course, there is always "lose weight" or "be a better spouse" and so on and so forth. I know what my personal goals are and hopefully you do too. Since I sent out a lot of Christmas cards with my blog information, my sister gave me a hard time and told me that I better update it more, so here's to you Lace!! I love my family and I fill that I am in a pretty good place right now, I know that Shane might say different but he is a good man and definitely deserves the Celestial Kingdom just for putting up with me.
I am getting off track I wanted to share with you all what our Ward did. They passed out a paper with a list of goals for our Ward, but I thought they could be transferred to a personal level. They are;
1. Daily Family Prayer,
2. Daily Personal Scripture Study,
3. Weekly Family Home Evenings, and
4. an increase Temple Attendance or at least prepare yourself for the temple.
I hope this helps you with your resolutions as it has helped me. Also, get familar with "The Family: A Proclamation to the World" we are going to need the spitiual guidence and information in there. We love you all, and wish you a wonderful New Year!
