Two weeks ago tomorrow our beloved dog Zeus passed away. He was a great dog and a joy to have in our family. He had been sick of a couple of months and after getting arthritis and spinal nerve damage, he ended up blind. It was very hard to watch him get sicker and sicker. We were going to put him down, but we came home and found that he had passed away. He was a great dog to have and the kids enjoyed him. he will be terribly missed.

What type of dog was he? How old? I have a 7 yr old Boxer named Lord Hades... love those Greek God names.
How your ever read "The Rainbow Bridge"? It's a poem about pets crossing over.
